Each commentator has their own talkback buttons. The push buttons for each circuit feature Config + and as such are configurable and can operate in different modes:\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eLatching on\/off\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eMomentary push to talk (PTT)\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eIntelligent mode where a short tap is latching, but a longer hold becomes momentary\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eAlways on and mutes when pressed (cough mode)\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003ePressing a talkback button removes the mic from the main output and directs it to the talkback output.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eHeadphone Monitoring\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThere are 4 inputs into the headphone mixer. Each commentator has individual pots to set their preferred mix of these sources. There is a 5th pot for adjusting the level of the commentator's own voice (sidetone) and a 6th pot for adjusting the level of the other commentator’s voice in their headphones.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe front panel has 2 x 6.35mm jack sockets for connecting the commentators’ headphones.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eMic Inputs\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003eBoth mic inputs are on front panel 3 pin XLR connections. The input is switchable to add 48V phantom.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEach commentator has a mic on\/off button that can also be configured to be always on, muting the input when held down (cough button).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eMic Gains\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003eTwo front panel rotary controls can be used for adjusting the microphone amplifiers input gain by +10\/-20 dB. The lineup gain of the microphone amplifier automatically reduces by 10dB when the phantom power switch is turned on.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eCompressor Limiter Circuits\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003eEach microphone input has its own compressor\/ limiter circuit to prevent audio overload by an excited commentator.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eNetwork Audio Link\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe Express \u003cem\u003eip\u003c\/em\u003e MINI X is Dante®\/ AES67 network audio compatible.
