The inputs are mic\/line\/ 48v switchable.  These are available on the rear panel via DB25 connectors.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe 16 mic amplifiers have been carefully designed to allow gain control with minimum impact to noise levels.  The circuits are very low noise, using high specification digital converters, and have very high headroom.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eFRONT PANEL CONTROL\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003eChannel gain can be adjusted directly from the front panel.  This can be the level of the incoming mic\/line level audio or the output levels of the channels coming from the network.  The DARKDAWN 1616M uses front end mic gain and not digital mic gain.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eLEVEL METERING\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003eEach channel has a permanent 4 segment LED to indicate level.  When a channel is selected for adjustment it is also highlighted on the 18 segment main meter for fine level adjust.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eFRONT PANEL\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe front LED panel is machined from a single block of aluminium with no screwheads or connectors visible. It includes 16 individual channel meters, a single hi-res meter for setting individual channel level and a 1\/4” headphone socket for the monitoring of all input or output channels.
